Mga Batas at Kautusan (Rules and Regulations):
Server Rules:
This is a role playing server. That means that you are not allowed to
use the global chat function for anything that is OOC (out of
character). Do not tell everyone what you've just had for breakfast or
what kind of music videos you like in this channel because it will get
you banned.
It is allowed to use the normal chat function for any OOC
conversations, but please try to keep these in the privacy of any
not-too-public place like a
bahay panuluyan (inn).
Also, any people using the global chat to advertise (other games for
instance) will be banned without hesitation.
Game Rules:
PK (player killing) - you can't kill
another PCC (player controlled character) until you've reached level
ten. There are no PKs in safe zones (white map name), usually in the
protection of a Barangay (small town) or within a lungsod or
lalawigan (city limits). PKs are allowed in an arena (with no
exp loss, grey map name). PK is allowed in the red zones (with exp and
item loss, red map name), usually outside town borders or in the kagubatan
(wilderness, forest). There will be NPC (non-player character) Barangay
Tanod or Kabatas (Guards or Police) in certain maps - do not PK in
these maps and do not attempt to talk to them or you will regret it;
they are strict law-enforcers.
Moderators and Administrators - Please respect the
Mods and Admin. Their word is law, they are authorized to ban you from the game.
You'll recognize them in-game by the color of their Character Names and by the
rank that is announced when they enter the game:
Tagalog in conversation - as the game is
set in the ancient archipelago, it would improve the role playing
immensely if everyone can converse in pure Tagalog. However, in reality
this is not possible. Please be courteous to each other and accommodate
the non-Tagalog speaker by using English when possible. And those who
don't understand Tagalog, please politely indicate to the other person
about your language preference. However if two Tagalog speakers are
presently engaged in a conversation, please do not complain about being
left out. Instead, politely ask if they wish to share whatever they are
saying with you, and please do not be upset if they refuse. Rudeness on
either party will result in suspension of your account or banishment.
Tagalog in game - there will be a lot of
Tagalog names, terms, and phrases throughout the Anak Bahala
game world. It's up to you to brush up on Tagalog. Some quest may
require you to decipher Tagalog puzzles. For those who are unfamiliar
to the language, this is your chance to learn. I provided a few links
to some online Filipino/English dictionaries in the
resource
section and quite a few names for the items, weapons, armor,
and locale are listed and available in this site.
Baybayin - is an ancient script that you
will find used in the Anak Bathala world. During certain
quests, you will need to learn how to decipher Baybayin puzzles.
An excellent Baybayin resource link is available in the
resource section. Read about how
Baybayin is used in the Anak Bathala game world in
the Baybayin ng Anak
Bathala page.
